Our company led the comprehensive construction of the Packing Facility and Agrochemical Warehouse at Finca Bugaba—an essential pillar for the sustainable development of the banana sector in Puerto Armuelles, Panama. These facilities are designed to optimize the processing, packaging, and safe storage of agricultural inputs, in compliance with high international standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
The project included:
- Full construction of the Packing Facility and Fruit Yard, including civil works, foundation, and assembly of robust and durable steel structures.
- Installation of roofing, enclosures, climate control, and ventilation systems to preserve banana quality and maintain optimal hygienic conditions.
- Installation of specialized machinery such as conveyor belts, washing systems, and sorting equipment to ensure a modern and efficient process.
- Development of service infrastructure including electrical systems, water supply, drainage, and environmentally responsible waste management.
- Construction of a modern agrochemical warehouse with industrial-grade welded steel structure, safety systems, ventilation, spill control, and fire prevention measures to ensure safe storage.
- Functional and protective finishes to ensure a safe working environment adapted to local climate conditions.
