Los Planetas II Hydroelectric Power Plant

LOS PLANETAS II HYDROELECTRIC PROWER PLANT, 6 MW

The usage site of Los Planetas II Hydroelectric Project is located in Los Anastacios Jurisdiction of the Dolega District in the Province of Chiriqui, Republic of Panama.  

The Project consists of:

• Lateral Intake.
• Under pressure Water conveyance of 2,150 meters of length.
• Surge chamber.
• Penstock of 250 meters of length.
• Surface Power House located between David River and the left bank of Lajas stream.

Installed equipment inside de HPP:

• 2 Francis-type Turbines.
• 2 Synchronous Generators and Oil-hydraulic Equipment.
• MV and Protection Equipment.
• Control and Auxiliary Services Equipment.
