TYPES OF MAINTENANCE:

Preventive scheduled maintenance:

Performance of Inspection Programs as for Operating as for Security, adjustments, repairs, analysis, cleaning, lubrication, and calibration which should be done periodically according to fixed plan and not to a demand of the operator or user, studies’ performance of the most important components:

• Turbine, Generator, Transformer and Gates.

Corrective Maintenance: Unplanned:

This Maintenance form precludes the reliable diagnostic of the causes which bring out the failure, because is ignored if the failure has occurred by mishandling, drop out, lack of operating knowledge, or because of natural wear.

Conservation, maintenance and re-conservation of the electromechanical and hydro mechanical equipment during the suspension of projects and the unplanned storage of the equipment:
 

• Embedded parts, gates, servomotors and electric units.
• General cleaning of installed electrical and mechanical equipment, pipes and accessories inside the Power House, visual checking of electrical connections and suctioning of panels and cable conduits.
• Heating of the generator.
• Revision and cleaning of bearings.
• Turbine.
• Butterfly-type Valve.
• Inter alia.
